    I have bought items from this company several times. I don't know what has happened there but the service recently has been very poor. In June 2009 I ordered several Christmas ornaments and picture frames. Got a series of confusing e-mails regarding backorders,then received a partial shipment with promise to send the remaining items within 30 days. The only items we received were the backordered items.   • Never Received Order

    I "pre-ordered" my 2009 Christmas Ornaments in June. Western Silver charged my credit card immediately, but didn't ship my ornaments. I didn't think anything about it at the time since I thought I had "pre-ordered" my ornaments. It is now December 29th and I STILL haven't received my ornaments.     Ordered 3 Wallace 2009 Silver Sleigh Bells and 3 Wallace 2009 Gold Sleigh Bells. E-mail order acknowledgment was received 21 November 2009. Credit card was charged. 20 days passed and none of the order was received. Order Status Requests were sent on 12/14/2009, 12/17/ 2009, 12/19/2009, and 12/26/2009.   • Bad Order Communications

    Twice I ordered 3 ornaments beginning at Thankgiving 2009 and it they indicated they had in stock. 1 1/2 weeks later I was informed that they were out of stock and order cancelled. I ordered two of the ornaments on line which indicated they were in stock. 1 1/2 weeks later I received notice that one of the ornaments were out of stock and the order cancelled.   • No return call

    I ordered engraved Christmas ornaments for my newborn granddaughters. When I ordered, there was a phone number posted on the website. I called and asked if delivery was possible by Thanksgiving. They said yes. (It was Nov. 18) I placed the order and have not received anything. It is now Dec 14, their phone number is no longer posted on the website. They say they will respond within 24 hours to an email. They have been unresponsive to three email requests to have an update on the status of my order. More...

  • Do Not Do Business With These People

    I ordered silver and waited for it to come for 2 weeks. My credit card was charged but the silver never came. When I notified them, they said they would refund my order, which they never did. I contacted them again and instead of refunding my debit card, they charged me again 3 different times, causing my account to overdraft, a $70 fee. After calling and emailing them numerous times, they finally refunded the charges; however, they were incredibly rude and never even apologized. I will never do business with Western Silver again.     I need to order Lenox Flatware. I noticed on your site, it is referred to as Lenox - Kirk-Stieff, and has 18/10 instead of 18/8 at Dillard's. I called the 800 number on the website and the man who answered who not even listen to my question. He said I needed to order it on the website and called back. I tried to explain I just had a question and he demanded he could not help me and hung up again. I am now very skeptical to order or even if this is a legitimate company.     First I wish this "forum" put the date for the reviews. Since they don't I'll put it myself and recommend other users do the same: 11-20-08 I called about shipping and delivery. The customer service rep (man) answered my initial question which was too long. He told me about the cost to expedite engraving but not shipping. Before I could ask another question he hung up.     Write your Review » I am a wholesale/reseller of Silver Goblets based out of Lexington S.C. and I by far had the worse experience with Western Silver I ever had of any retail silver site. I spoke directly with the owner regarding an order I wish to place and additionally had a question regarding another type of Goblet that I had seen. The owner told me he "did not answer questions for free" and promptly hung up on me. horrible experience. They charged me for expensive ornaments that I ordered, and sent inexpensive Western Silver brand ornaments that are half the price, and billed me for the more expensive ornaments. This is fraud. They will not respond to complaints and because they say "no returns" it is hard to get your credit card company to cancel the charge. They are crooks!

I ordered six Christmas ornaments, was billed for them, the web site indicated they were in stock, and I waited. ONLY ONE arrived, the other five were all lmarked "Out of stock". I have e-mailed four times, and have received no information. Next step will be to go to Better Business Bureau, and to dispute the credit card charge. They should be ashamed of doing business in this manner.

I ordered a silverware chest 2 months ago. Received it yesterday and it was damaged and wrong wood. Tring to work with these people and always an excuse. Needed the chest for son's wedding and now have nothing. What is the problerm here?

Buyer Beware! Western Silver does not respond to legitimate inquiries and does not handle complaints with integrity. They do not list an address or answer their phone. That should tell you something. Shop somewhere else!
